Op. Dr. Ali Cem Oktay completed his medical education at Mersin University Faculty of Medicine and then specialized in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at the same university, earning his expertise in the field of plastic surgery. After completing his specialty training, he worked at various institutions in different regions of Turkey. By working at Iskenderun State Hospital and Nizip State Hospital, he had the opportunity to meet with diverse patient communities and incorporate many surgical procedures, including rhinoplasty, breast surgeries, tummy tucks, and liposuction, into his clinical practice.
Dr. Oktay also worked at academic institutions, gaining experience at Mersin University Faculty of Medicine Hospital and later continuing his work at Gaziantep NCR International Hospital. Later in his career, he moved to Istanbul and joined the staff at Private Çevre Hospital in Mecidiyeköy, where he continued performing surgeries in areas such as breast augmentation, reduction, and lift, body contouring surgeries, and facial aesthetics. Additionally, he provided comprehensive aesthetic solutions for international patients at the Adem & Havva Clinic in Istanbul.
Dr. Oktay has contributed to various articles and presentations, conducting research on topics such as skin cancers, microtia repair, and wound management, and sharing the data he gathered on scientific platforms. Through his memberships in the Turkish Medical Association and the Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery, he has participated in professional exchanges and closely followed current methods by attending rhinoplasty courses and national congresses. He continues to perform surgical procedures tailored to the needs of patients from different countries at clinics and hospitals based in Istanbul.
