Dr. Candan Mezilli graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 2005 and began his specialty training in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at Ege University Faculty of Medicine in the same year. After completing his specialty training in 2011, he carried out his mandatory service at Kars State Hospital. He then focused on various surgical applications while working in public and private hospitals in different cities.
Some of the institutions he has worked at during his career journey include Kocaeli Darıca Farabi State Hospital, Private Eryaman Hospital in Ankara, and Private Keçiören Hospital. Later, he worked at Acıbadem Hospital in Bodrum from 2015 to 2018, where he participated in projects related to burn treatments, facial reconstruction, and microtia (congenital absence of the ear). During this period, he also gained various experiences working alongside Prof. Dr. Mehmet Mutaf on congenital anomalies and reconstructive surgery.
After a brief period at Private Ekol Hospital in İzmir in 2018, he opened his own clinic in Karşıyaka, İzmir. At his clinic, he performs a wide range of aesthetic and reconstructive procedures, including facial, body, breast, nose, and genital surgery. He also works in the field of dermocosmetology as part of non-surgical aesthetic procedures. In order to continue his professional development, he participates in national and international congresses and training events, and he has published articles on topics such as nasal deformities and vascular physiology in scientific journals. He is a member of both the Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Society.
Dr. Mezilli continues his work at his clinic in İzmir, where he focuses on both surgical and non-surgical aesthetic treatments.
