Dr. Murat Topdağ was born in 1978 in Malatya. He spent his childhood years in the same city, completing both his primary and secondary education there. He attended high school in Istanbul, gaining the experience of studying in a different city. He chose Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine’s English program for his university education, where he focused on the basic sciences of medicine. After graduating, he started his specialty training in Otolaryngology at Kocaeli University in 2004. During this training, he combined theoretical knowledge with clinical applications and continued his work at an intense pace until 2009.
Dr. Topdağ began his academic career at Kocaeli University, taking on various roles within the institution. While fulfilling his institutional and academic responsibilities, he made sure to prepare scientific publications and attend medical congresses. During this academic period, he earned the title of Associate Professor in 2015 and continued his work at the university until 2017. In the same year, he joined the staff at Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital in Istanbul, where he worked for five years, performing clinical practices.
Focusing on areas of Otolaryngology, Dr. Topdağ worked on a wide range of cases, from head and neck cancers to rhinoplasty, sinusitis treatment, and otoplasty, continuing his professional work. Since 2022, he has been seeing patients at MD ENT Istanbul Clinic. To this day, he has contributed to many national and international scientific publications, maintaining his approach to continuing academic work. Dr. Murat Topdağ, married with two children, continues to practice in Istanbul, offering services related to Otolaryngology.
