Dr. Duran Çekiç, who graduated from Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine in 2012, worked as a general practitioner in Şanlıurfa after his graduation. Later, following the results of the Medical Specialization Examination, he began his specialty training in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at Mersin University Faculty of Medicine. During this period, he focused on improving himself by participating in various national congresses. In 2018, at the congress organized by the Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery, his thesis on the relationship between mesenchymal stem cells obtained from adipose tissue and chitosan tissue scaffolds was awarded third place.
After completing his specialty training in 2019, he worked for a while at Bitlis Tatvan State Hospital as part of his mandatory state service. During this period, he had the opportunity to work with different patient profiles and put various reconstructive surgical practices into practice. After his assignment at the state hospital, he returned to his hometown of Mersin and established his own private clinic. He began offering services in a wide range of areas, including facial and body contouring surgeries, rhinoplasty, breast surgery, and hair transplantation.
Shortly after, Dr. Çekiç moved to Istanbul, where he began performing surgeries at health institutions that were highly preferred by both local and international patients. He joined the staff at Private Çevre Hospital and also became part of the aesthetic surgery team at Adem & Havva Clinic. At these institutions, he performs surgeries such as rhinoplasty, liposuction, and breast surgery, using current technologies to follow new techniques. In addition to his professional work, he aims to continue his academic development through various courses and seminars.
