Uzm. Dt. Didem Oğuz completed her high school education at Anamur Anatolian High School and then started at Ege University Faculty of Dentistry in 2007. After earning her title as a dentist in 2012, she immediately took the Dental Specialization Examination and was accepted into the Prosthodontics Department at Ege University for her specialty training. During this period, she conducted studies related to computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) methods. In 2017, she presented her thesis titled "Evaluation of Clinical Wear Quantities of Crown Restorations Designed and Manufactured Using New Generation Restorative Materials and Three-Dimensional Image Alignment Method," earning her title as a Prosthodontics Specialist.
After graduation, she worked briefly at İzmir Kâtip Çelebi University Atatürk Education and Research Hospital. She then worked at İzmir Education Dental Hospital in the Prosthodontics Department, where she was involved in various crown, bridge, and implant-supported prosthesis applications. During this time, she handled different types of cases and provided restorative solutions related to aesthetic dentistry in addition to fixed and removable prostheses. In 2022, she started working at CEON Oral and Dental Health Polyclinic, where she integrated digital dentistry technologies into clinical practice.
Among her academic works, there is an international article examining the clinical wear amounts of CAD/CAM ceramic crowns. In this publication, she shared data on the interaction of restorations produced through computer-aided manufacturing with natural teeth. As of 2023, she started working at Emerald International Dental Clinic. Here, she focuses on areas such as digital impression methods, implant-supported prostheses, and smile design. She works with the clinic’s international patient profile and provides aesthetic and functional dental treatments to individuals from different countries. By combining her education with the experience gained from her public service, she continues her career based in İzmir.
