Celebrities Who Have Blepharoplasty

Date: Tuesday, Jun 17, 2025

Many celebrities, from movie stars to TV stars, have confirmed they have had blepharoplasty done. Celebrities often opt for this surgical eyelid lift for an appearance that looks bright, refreshed and well rested. Regardless if it is for hooded eyes or puffiness, upper blepharoplasty and lower lid surgery provide results that are visible but still natural. Many of these eyelid surgery celebrities will be requiring a little help to look fresher, without changing their overall features. The choice reflects the treatment’s capacity to offer a substantial enhancement that satisfies the unique needs of a public life.

Celebrities Who Have Blepharoplasty

Amanda Bynes

Former child star Amanda Bynes has confirmed she recently had an upper blepharoplasty in a social media post that was refreshingly candid. She said she opted for the operation to get rid of skin folds located at the corners of her eyes. In the video, which was very direct and candid, Bynes stated that she was very happy with the process. Furthermore, Amanda states that the procedure is one of the best things I could’ve ever done for my self-confidence. Thus, this provided a very clear indication to the public reason for her changed appearance. Moreover, it is a real testament to how powerful the right procedure can be for one’s confidence.

Kaitlyn Bristowe

Kaitlyn Bristowe, who appeared on The Bachelorette, has been very open about her upper bleph. She has shared her journey with her followers. She said my motivation was to correct my “droopy eyelids” which I have been dealing with for a long time. I have used Botox to correct it in the past, sometimes with adverse effects. Bristowe shared lots of pics and answered questions about her recovery in a candid post-operation post. It was surprisingly painless for her. She was happy with the results, as they opened up her eyes without the need for cosmetic injectables. The way she was so honest and open about the procedure made it normal for those of us who see it as an option to have.

Jane Fonda

For many years, Jane Fonda has spoken about cosmetic surgery and the importance of transparency in the industry. The legendary actress said it was a good thing to address things with a little work, referencing her eye-work. According to her, she just wants to “get rid of the bags” under her eyes. It’s always been about looking fresh and feeling good, never about looking young and unrealistic. She stresses an expert surgeon so that the results will not only look natural, but (she) still looks like her. Fonda’s honesty has changed the conversation to a more serious approach. Cosmetic surgery is not taboo. It is valid for people to feel more in alignment with their energetic self.

Julie Chen Moonves

Television personality Julie Chen Moonves opened up about an important choice she made early in her career to undergo blepharoplasty. She disclosed that she was pressured by a former boss and an agent who suggested that her natural eye shape made her look “disinterested” on screen. Thus, they insisted that he get surgery to look more “Western.” When she did go forth and do this surgery, it started a lot of conversations about racial beauty standards. Chen Moonves, however, has always maintained that she did it with “no regrets.” She feels like getting that surgery was a career advancement she needed at the time. Furthermore, she has mentioned that she feels happy and confident with her look.

Al Pacino

Renowned in Hollywood, actor Al Pacino has never confirmed that he underwent the procedure, however, he is often cited by cosmetic surgery experts as a classic case of a celebrity who has possibly had a lower blepharoplasty. A closer examination of his earlier and current photographs reveals that his eyebags and sagging skin look much less pronounced than in the past. The supposed surgery has been acclaimed for providing a more ‘rested’ and less tired look, helping to keep him a leading man well into his later years without removing his trademark look. The Pacino speculation is part of a broader trend for males seeking cosmetic surgery treatment. The trend is for natural-looking cosmetic enhancements which are not too dramatic and give a refreshed youthful look.

Tom Cruise

Another star Tom Cruise constantly speculated to have had plastic surgery is lower blepharoplasty. This is to remove unsightly bags under his eyes. This is especially the case for the man who is known for starring in action films. Some experts believe the actor has undergone an eyelid lift surgery due to his under-eye region not having any signs of aging. Yet, Cruise reiterated that he has never undergone any form of plastic surgery. In an interview in 2012, he said, ‘I haven’t and never will’, the debate rumbles on, showing just what pressure male stars are under to defy age in an industry that is tough physically and image-conscious.

Blake Lively

Blake Lively, the actress, is suspected of upper blepharoplasty. But Lively didn’t confirm nor deny the rumour. Based on some comparisons between an early career photo, probably one taken from the set of Gossip Girl, and a more recent photo. This evidence suggests that the eyelid crease has evolved from a more hooded and obfuscated form to an eyelid with a more clearly defined crease. Many stated that the perceived change was the result of a celebrity blepharoplasty – surgery to create a bigger eye. The eye also looked brighter. People want to look like her. Thus, she made trends around eye aesthetics with her surgery.

Jennifer Lawrence

After altering her looks in 2023, netizens speculated whether Jennifer Lawrence got eye surgery. Oscar-winning actress discussed these rumors during a conversation with Kylie Jenner. I did not get eye surgery. I’m doing make-up,… Lawrence says her look change is because of the techniques used by Hung Vanngo, her make-up artist, and that her face is losing its baby weight as she gets older. Her blunt denial is a valuable reminder that makeup artistry and the natural evolution of features is often mistaken for surgical enhancement.
