Op. Dr. Yıldız Acar Ebcim completed her medical training at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine between 2003 and 2009. She pursued her ophthalmology residency at Istanbul Training and Research Hospital, beginning in 2011 and qualifying as a specialist in 2015. During her training, she participated in numerous surgeries and attended various courses and congresses. Notably, she successfully passed the examinations of the International Council of Ophthalmology (ICO), signifying adherence to international standards.
Following her residency, Dr. Ebcim fulfilled her compulsory service at Rize State Hospital from 2015 to 2017. Since 2022, she has been serving patients in her own private practice (TY private clinic). Dr. Ebcim possesses a distinct specialization in oculoplastic surgery and medical aesthetics. Her areas of interest and offered services prominently feature procedures like ptosis correction, blepharoplasty (upper and lower eyelid aesthetics), under-eye fillers, non-surgical eye and facial aesthetics, almond eye surgery, ectropion/entropion repair, and removal of xanthelasmas, chalazions, and eyelid tumors. She also performs facial rejuvenation procedures like facelifts and brow lifts, alongside various medical aesthetic treatments (Botox, fillers, thread lifts, PRP, mesotherapy). While focusing on oculoplastics, she also manages general ophthalmology conditions like cataract surgery, dry eye, and glaucoma.
