Dr. Sedat Tatar completed his medical degree at Gazi University in 2008 and his Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery residency at the same institution in 2015. His pursuit of excellence is marked by prestigious certifications: he completed the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS) fellowship in 2017-2018 and was admitted as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) in 2019. Dr. Tatar gained international experience working with Dr. Jian Farhadi at Guy's and St Thomas Hospital in London and collaborating with Dr. Alexander Aslani in Marbella, Spain, in 2022, focusing on BBL and body contouring. He achieved the academic rank of Associate Professor by 2020 and was associated with Koç University Hospital from 2017 to 2021, contributing to teaching and research. Currently, Dr. Tatar operates his private clinic in Istanbul, specializing in a wide array of breast, body, and face surgeries. He is a prolific academic, having authored over 40 articles in peer-reviewed journals and delivered more than one hundred scientific presentations. His contributions earned him the European Association of Plastic Surgeons (EURAPS) Young Plastic Surgeon Scholarship award. He is a member of numerous professional societies.

The fact that Dr. Tatar is both a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and holds the European Board cert (FEBOPRAS) speaks volumes about his standards. I chose him for my breast surgery, and his expertise and academic background (Associate Professor!) were very reassuring. I was interested in body contouring, specifically BBL, and saw Dr. Tatar trained with specialists in London and Spain. His international collaborations and focus on this area made him my top choice. He's meticulous and the results are exactly what I hoped for. Dr. Tatar's experience at Koç University Hospital and his extensive research (so many publications!) really set him apart. He explained everything clearly at his private clinic, and I felt completely confident in his hands for my facial surgery.

Choosing to get a Labiaplasty wasn't easy, took me a long time. Finding the right doctor was key. From the first meeting, this doc just listened. Didn't push anything, just laid out the options. Made me feel safe, like my worries mattered. The surgery day, everyone was professional but still warm, you know? The procedure wasn't bad pain-wise, mostly just discomfort afterward which they helped manage. Healing took time, patience is important, but the follow-up care was good. I'm months out now and the difference is amazing, not just how it looks but how much more comfortable I am day-to-day. Wish the parking near the office was easier, that was the only real headache! Right, where to start? Choosing to have a Vaginoplasty wasn't easy, I was bricking it beforehand! But honestly, this surgeon and their team made it so much less daunting. From the first consultation, I felt heard. They answered all my daft questions patiently. The surgery itself went well, and the aftercare was fantastic. They were very thorough checking everything during recovery. The results are amazing, truly life-changing for me. Feel so much more like 'me'. The only tiny niggle, and it's really minor, was the waiting room music – drove me a bit potty! But that's nothing to do with the actual medical care, which was absolutely first-class. Couldn't fault the important stuff, really professional and skilled, would recommend them in a heartbeat. It's given me my life back in many ways.
