Op. Dr. Sedat Tatar

Dr. Sedat Tatar completed his medical degree at Gazi University in 2008 and his Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery residency at the same institution in 2015. His pursuit of excellence is marked by prestigious certifications: he completed the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS) fellowship in 2017-2018 and was admitted as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) in 2019. Dr. Tatar gained international experience working with Dr. Jian Farhadi at Guy's and St Thomas Hospital in London and collaborating with Dr. Alexander Aslani in Marbella, Spain, in 2022, focusing on BBL and body contouring. He achieved the academic rank of Associate Professor by 2020 and was associated with Koç University Hospital from 2017 to 2021, contributing to teaching and research. Currently, Dr. Tatar operates his private clinic in Istanbul, specializing in a wide array of breast, body, and face surgeries. He is a prolific academic, having authored over 40 articles in peer-reviewed journals and delivered more than one hundred scientific presentations. His contributions earned him the European Association of Plastic Surgeons (EURAPS) Young Plastic Surgeon Scholarship award. He is a member of numerous professional societies.
