Op. Dr. İbrahim Yaşar obtained his medical degree from Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine between 2003 and 2009. He subsequently specialized in Ophthalmology at Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University (KSÜ) Faculty of Medicine from 2010 to 2014. Following his residency, Dr. Yaşar worked at the Erzincan Mengücek Gazi Training and Research Hospital from 2014 to 2016, gaining valuable experience in a public healthcare setting.
Currently, he practices at the Dünyagöz Hospital in Ataşehir, Istanbul, a well-known private eye hospital group. Dr. Yaşar brings significant surgical experience to his role, having performed over 20,000 surgical procedures. He is an active member of professional organizations, including the Turkish Medical Association and the Turkish Ophthalmology Society. His primary specialization is in general Ophthalmology, but his practice encompasses a wide range of treatments including laser eye surgery, retinal treatments (medical and potentially surgical), presbyopia correction, corneal therapies, comprehensive eye examinations, cataract surgery, pediatric eye care, management of intraocular inflammations (uveitis), and the implantation of various intraocular lenses, including trifocal options for spectacle independence. His career shows a common trajectory from public training hospitals to specialized private practice.
