Dr. Gökhan Dokumacıgil completed his initial education in Gaziantep before graduating from Sivas Cumhuriyet University Faculty of Dentistry in 2014. Showing early ambition for specialization, he passed the Dental Specialty Exam in 2015 and was accepted into the Department of Restorative Dentistry at Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry. He successfully completed his specialization in 2019, defending his thesis on the bonding strengths of different solvent-containing adhesives and earning the title "Specialist in Restorative Dentistry."
His professional journey started immediately after graduation in 2014 at a private clinic in Istanbul, focusing on restorative and endodontic treatments, as well as crown and bridge applications. From 2016, coinciding with his specialization, he worked as a Research Assistant at Marmara University's Department of Restorative Dentistry. After completing his specialization in 2019, he continued practicing as a specialist dentist in Istanbul. In 2023, he founded his own clinic in Etiler, Istanbul, primarily focusing on aesthetic and cosmetic dentistry, and utilizing a dental microscope for advanced root canal treatments (endodontics). He proactively enhanced his skills by spending six months in London in 2022 to improve communication with international patients. Dr. Dokumacıgil shares his expertise by presenting and training dentists in Turkey and the UK, and has received awards for aesthetic case poster presentations at dental congresses. His specialization is Restorative Dentistry, with a focus on aesthetic smile design, digital restorations, veneers, and endodontics.
