Dr. Gizem Yarımbaş, after graduating from Mustafa Kemal University Faculty of Medicine, worked as an Obstetrics and Gynecology assistant at Zeynep Kamil Women and Children's Diseases Education and Research Hospital in Istanbul. During this period, she focused on obstetric and gynecological surgical practices, shaping her medical skills. She then pursued advanced training at Bahçeşehir University and developed an interest in medical aesthetics, focusing on different techniques related to hair transplantation.
Although she initially took on responsibilities in the field of obstetrics and gynecology, over time, her attention shifted towards hair loss, hair transplantation, and aesthetic treatments. She worked with frequently used hair transplant methods such as FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) and DHI (Direct Hair Implantation), and also conducted procedures on various patient groups, including female pattern hair transplant and afro-textured hair transplant. She also included facial hair transplant procedures, such as beard, mustache, and eyebrow transplants, in her practice, offering solutions for hairless areas of the face.
Working at FKS Clinic in Istanbul, Dr. Yarımbaş is involved with both domestic and international patients, focusing on hair transplantation and medical aesthetic procedures. As part of her work at the clinic, she includes supportive treatments such as PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) and mesotherapy in her procedures. This allows her to focus on methods that provide additional benefits before and after the hair transplant process.
By combining her previous experiences in gynecology and obstetric surgery with an aesthetic medical approach, Dr. Yarımbaş has reshaped her career path and continues to apply current techniques in hair transplantation and related procedures.
